Back from Hamburg, I would like to give you my feedback.
It was a very interesting week I spent on board; captain Z. and the officers were all very open and friendly, so there really was a good atmosphere. I have always felt welcome to go here and there, to ask questions, and able to spend a lot of time on the bridge. As I told the captain, I felt I was 40 years younger as I spent hours on the bridge, just like when I was an officer on merchant ships...

I enjoyed the trip on the Gerda, with Captain H. who ensured that I had my best experience to date. Also, a mention to the Chef, who made very tasty meals, also to all the crew, I can’t list all their names, unfortunately, however, all staff combined made my experience so enjoyable and I will definitely try to go on that route again to meet them again.

Sorry for only getting in touch now. The trip on the cargo ship was lovely. We arrived at Eurogate at 7 am on 28 October and then back at CTT at around 10 am. We stayed in Hamburg for one more night after that. On the 16th, we boarded at around 4 pm and cast off the next day at 1.30 pm. We didn’t reach the NOK until the evening and, unfortunately, didn’t see any of it; by the time we were on our return journey, it was already dark again. The first stop in Estonia was...

The MV Gerd arrived to Antwerp, berth 913, on March 1st as expected and we embarked at once, but it restarted only on March 4th in the morning. It was not in our intention, but we used this delay to visit Antwerp. MV Gerd was alongside the quay just next to the cathedral so it was easy. It’s a beautiful and rich city ((the center).

My travelling companion and I returned to Hamburg on 5 May 26. It was a very special trip, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The crew were very friendly, and the food was delicious and plentiful. We would particularly like to thank the captain, who was available to speak to us almost at any time and gave us plenty of insight into daily life on a cargo ship. Here is a brief report on our trip from 20 to 30 June.
We boarded on 20 June at the Altenwerder Container Terminal at 2.00 pm. We set sail that night. The next day, we had a wonderful passage through the North Ocean Canal in glorious sunshine, though we did have a near-collision with another container ship.
The pilot said he would have to make a note of it.

Hello everyone!
Sorry for only getting in touch now. The trip on the cargo ship was lovely. We arrived at Eurogate at 7 am on 28 October and then back at CTT at around 10 am. We stayed in Hamburg for one more night after that. On the 16th, we boarded at around 4 pm and cast off the next day at 1.30 pm. We didn’t reach the NOK until the evening and, unfortunately, didn’t see any of it; by the time we were on our return journey, it was already dark again. The first stop in Estonia was...
