Cabins

2 double apartments, shower/WC, bed 200 x 140 cm, separate living room, seating area, desk, E-deck, view forward may be obstructed.

1 single apartment port side shower/WC, separate living area, seating area, desk, E-deck, view to aft.

1 single apartment starboard shower/WC, separate living area, seating area, desk, E-deck, view to aft partly obstructed by chimney.

All apartments are carpeted and have refrigerator, TV/video and stereo.

Comments

One of the rare opportunities to travel to Iceland on a cargo ship. This trip can only be booked as a round trip.

In Rotterdam, embarkation takes place via a taxi service that takes passengers to the ship and provides competent assistance with embarkation (subject to a charge of approximately £60 per trip). It is not possible to board without the taxi service on this trip.

An ETA is required to enter the United Kingdom and must be applied for via gov.uk or the corresponding app.

Age limit 79 years.

Canteen goods can only be paid for in US dollars in cash (intact notes) and in exact change in euros.

    Sorry for only getting in touch now. The trip on the cargo ship was lovely. We arrived at Eurogate at 7 am on 28 October and then back at CTT at around 10 am. We stayed in Hamburg for one more night after that. On the 16th, we boarded at around 4 pm and cast off the next day at 1.30 pm.     I just wanted to get in touch again before the holidays – we returned from Cork to Rotterdam around midday on Saturday.
