Comments

A beautiful trip with interesting stops and pleasant berthing times.

It goes along the French Atlantic coast with a call at Bassens, the port of Bordeaux, as well as Montoir and partly Brest, both in Brittany.

Combine the call at Le Havre, the largest city in Normandy, with a visit to an extremely interesting region. Le Havre is the second largest port in France after Marseille and the city centre, which is characterized by its colourful concrete architecture, has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005.

History buffs will also be interested in nearby Harfleur, which was a strategically important port in the constant battle against the English in the Middle Ages.

Ship of a German family shipping company.

There is a ban on alcohol for the crew.

It is not possible to board this trip without using the taxi service.

Age limit max. 75 years.

Shore leave

Berthing times approx. 8-16 hours.

  • Hello everyone!
Sorry for only getting in touch now. The trip on the cargo ship was lovely. We arrived at Eurogate at 7 am on 28 October and then back at CTT at around 10 am. We stayed in Hamburg for one more night after that. On the 16th, we boarded at around 4 pm and cast off the next day at 1.30 pm. We didn’t reach the NOK until the evening and, unfortunately, didn’t see any of it; by the time we were on our return journey, it was already dark again. The first stop in Estonia was...

  • Good afternoon, Ms Weber,
I just wanted to get in touch again before the holidays – we returned from Cork to Rotterdam around midday on Saturday. The trip was a truly wonderful experience all round – I can wholeheartedly recommend it. The crew and the atmosphere on board were very friendly – we felt welcomed as part of the crew. As expected at this time of year, the seas in the North Atlantic were quite rough and did cause us to jump out of bed once or twice during the...
