Hello Ms Pfeiffer, hello Ms Weber,
I’ve just returned today from my first cargo ship voyage.
If I had to describe the trip in one word, ‘WOW’ would come closest to capturing it – and yet it still wouldn’t do it justice.
First of all, I’d like to pay tribute to your entire team. I was kept well informed right up in the run-up to the trip. From an organisational point of view, everything went smoothly.
The welcome on board was very warm; I genuinely felt welcome. The entire crew, led by the captain, were not only very friendly but also showed me the whole ship, from the lashing bar to the engine room. I gained some fantastic insights on the bridge; the watch officers answered all my questions with stoic calm. And last but not least, the food on board was excellent.
This will certainly not be my last trip of this kind.
