Comments

The ships are so-called “Lakers”, i.e. they are specially built to fit the locks on the St. Lawrence River and the Great Lakes of Canada/USA. The ships therefore sail extensively in Canada and the USA, and some also sail to South America and, on an irregular basis, to Europe.

This trip requires a great deal of flexibility in terms of ports of embarkation and disembarkation as well as the duration of the trip. Suitable for adventurous passengers with plenty of time.

The ships sail depending on cargo, so it is not possible to book specific routes or specific ports of embarkation and disembarkation. It may happen that at the start of the trip it is not clear when and where the trip will end.

Passengers need to allow for a large time window.

We are happy to take bookings early, and from around 2-4 weeks before your desired travel period, we can discuss possible ports of embarkation and possible routes.
