Comments

This beautiful voyage is now operated with four ships. The carriage also of bulk and general cargo leads partly to good port lay times, but also to a not quite regular schedule.

In the long term, only the month of departure can be booked, narrowing down the dates is possible only about 6 weeks before the planned departure.

For one-way trips to Namibia or South Africa, passengers must present a valid return flight or return ticket.

Vehicle transportation possible. Onboard language English, onboard currency Euro.

Age limit 78 years.

For bookings from/to Hamburg, in rare cases embarkation may not take place until Antwerp or disembarkation already in Rotterdam, if a crew change takes place in Hamburg. This change may only be announced at short notice, the cancelled travel days will be refunded.

A negative self-test must be presented at embarkation (to be done before the ship, under supervision).

Shore leave

Very long berthing times, 1-2 days are common, up to 4 days are also possible. For arrangements in South Africa and Namibia we provide the contact to a local agency we know personally, which also has German-speaking staff on site.
