Cabins
1 owner double cabin, shower/WC, single beds, separate living room, large seating area, desk, fridge, TV/DVD/CD, captain’s deck – D-deck, view may be obstructed by cargo. The cabin is a non-smoking cabin.

This beautiful journey is now operated by four ships.
The transport of bulk and general cargo sometimes results in good port layovers, but also in a somewhat irregular schedule.
In the long term, only the month of departure can be booked; dates can only be narrowed down approximately 6 weeks before the planned departure.
For one-way trips to Namibia or South Africa, passengers must present a valid return or onward ticket.
Vehicle transport is possible. The language spoken on board is English, and the currency is the euro.
The age limit is 78 years.
For bookings from/to Hamburg, in rare cases, embarkation may only take place in Antwerp or disembarkation may take place in Rotterdam if there is a crew change in Hamburg.
This change may only be announced at short notice, and the canceled travel days will be refunded.
An ETA is required to enter the United Kingdom and can be applied for via gov.uk or the corresponding app.
Shore leave
Very long berthing times, 1-2 days are common, up to 4 days are also possible. For arrangements in South Africa and Namibia we provide the contact to a local agency we know personally, which also has German-speaking staff on site.

In particular, the loading operations and everything that came on board – including around 150 second-hand lorries from England, fertiliser, potash, machine parts, steel plates and, alongside the containers, a 42-metre-long mast for a luxury yacht in Cape Town.
