Algeciras, for example, can be reached via Málaga Airport.
The ship is operated by a Norwegian shipping company; alcoholic drinks cannot be purchased on board. On-board currency: Euro
Age limit: 6–75 years.
Shore leave
In Leixões, the market hall and the town centre with its shops and cafés are within walking distance.
Regardless of which terminal the ship is docked at, both the northern part of the town with its beaches and the southern part are easily accessible.
The port of Leixões is fascinating – the container terminal is located at the rear of the port, meaning the ship must first pass through a long harbour channel and under a bascule bridge.
Even from a distance, the world’s largest mosque can be seen on the shores of the ‘white city’ of Casablanca. The old town exudes pure Oriental charm. Shore leave may be restricted here.

I’d like to give you a quick update on my trip in May. It was a wonderful experience; for me, the days at sea in the sunshine were the highlight. The ship is kept in superb condition, thanks – according to the captain – to the boatswain and his crew. One Saturday, they hosed down and scrubbed the entire rear section – where the cabins and the bridge are located – from top to bottom. Inside, too, the ship was always spotless, and the Filipino chef kept conjuring...

I arrived safely in Hamburg after the trip.
The voyage in sunny weather was a real experience. Being back on the beautiful and well-maintained HENNEKE RAMBOW with Captain D., this time heading for the Canary Islands, is certainly one of the most fantastic trips you can take on a feeder ship.
The service was excellent in every respect.
The ships of the Rambow shipping company come highly recommended.
