Trave report by Mr K.

Hello Team Pfeiffer,

It’s been a few weeks now, but I wanted to give you a bit of feedback on the absolutely brilliant trip. I was, so to speak, the last passenger on this voyage aboard this ship.
Even though this is, of course, your business model, I’d still like to thank you for making it possible and for organising everything. It really is a special travel experience, exactly to my taste.
I usually travel around Scandinavia on a motorbike with a tent, and my destinations and route often change at short notice.
On our tour, we had the chance to go ashore in Las Palmas and Cádiz. For me, visiting the south for the first time, it was very interesting. But you don’t undertake a trip like this primarily for shore leave,
but rather to be part of the seafaring experience and out of an interest in seafaring itself.

The fact that the ‘TV captain’ wasn’t on board wasn’t a drawback in this case. That wasn’t what this trip was about for me anyway. Our Captain Wolters is a really great bloke. My fellow passenger, the captain and I got on brilliantly, had a lot of fun and a good laugh.
And, of course, we learnt a great deal too. My fellow passenger and the captain already knew each other from a trip last year.
And, as is probably the case for most cargo ship travellers, this won’t be my last trip either. Next year I’d like to do a Baltic Sea/North Sea tour, perhaps calling at Danish and Norwegian ports, with Rambow and, ideally, Captain Wolters again 😉
But I’ll get in touch with you separately about that.

One day I went up to the bridge and the captain said that we were the last passengers on this voyage and that the ship would probably be heading for the Mediterranean afterwards. It’s really crazy that we were lucky enough to go on this fantastic trip.
I’m now editing our journey into a video diary and publishing a new instalment every week on my little YouTube channel, ‘Motorrad und Meer’. Do have a look. You’re also welcome to link to the videos on your website 🙂

Enjoy, and see you soon.
