Good afternoon.<\/p>\n

I am delighted to be in touch following my cargo ship voyage from Le Havre \u2013 Bordeaux \u2013 Montoir \u2013 Brest \u2013 Le Havre, which has left me with wonderful memories.<\/p>\n

First of all, I would like to thank your team for the excellent preparation and information regarding the trip.<\/p>\n

For me, this was my second cargo ship voyage of this kind and I was thoroughly delighted. Above all, I was impressed by the captain, the first officer and the cook \u2013 and, of course, the entire crew. This crew made a very good, friendly and professional impression on me. You could see and feel this on deck too, which is surely down to the crew\u2019s excellent leadership.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, I had to give the shore leave in the city of Bordeaux a miss for \u2018temperature-related\u2019 reasons (+41\u00b0C). Towards the evening, however, I was able to take a taxi with some of the crew to a nearby shopping centre to do some shopping.<\/p>\n

This made the shore excursion to Saint-Nazaire all the more interesting, with a visit to the Base Sous-Marine, the Second World War submarine bunker, and the surrounding area.<\/p>\n

The seven-day cruise was a truly wonderful experience, full of lasting memories and many exciting and humorous conversations on board, not to mention the atmospheric scenes in the ports and out at sea.<\/p>\n

I rounded off this trip with a 4-day visit to Normandy, including the Alabaster Coast and a visit to the historic beaches. After arriving in Le Havre, I set off on my journey home by car, stopping off briefly in the Champagne region.<\/p>\n
