We would like to thank you most sincerely for our voyage.<\/p>\n
The voyage was an extraordinary experience for us and exceeded our expectations in many ways. The days on board were characterised by an impressive variety of experiences and gave us a fascinating insight into the many facets of modern maritime operations.<\/p>\n
We were particularly impressed by the opportunity to experience daily life on a container ship at first hand \u2013 from the nautical operations on the bridge, through the technical processes in the engine room, to the port calls and cargo handling operations. Every day brought new perspectives and interesting encounters, making the trip equally varied, informative and exciting.<\/p>\n
The crew were always happy to answer every question, clearly taking great pleasure in doing so \u2013 our itinerary offered everything a North Sea\u2013Baltic Sea tour could provide.<\/p>\n
The organisation and support provided by your company played a key role in ensuring that we will cherish fond memories of this trip.<\/p>\n
The entire process was handled professionally, reliably and without any complications.<\/p>\n
We learnt that cargo ships operate on a different schedule \u2013 so disembarking in Bremerhaven did not present us with any insurmountable problems.<\/p>\n
(We also have a suggestion for improvement (as of June 2026):
\nIn every port, organising a potential transfer from the container terminal into the city was time-consuming and rather unclear.
\nExamples:
\n1) In Oslo, a return would only have been possible until 5 pm; walking to the terminal entrance was permitted.
\n2) In Aalborg, a simple walk to the entrance office and 24\/7 re-entry were possible, with a bus or taxi available into the city.
\n3) In Helsingborg, the Port Authority is not responsible; an official taxi must be called, which then picks up the passengers directly at the gangway, accompanied by the PA, and also brings them back from the city via the same route. Walking to the entrance is \u201cstrictly forbidden\u201d.<\/p>\n
So, whilst every port certainly has its \u2018own rules\u2019, these could be compiled as a best-practice guide, made available to travellers and could significantly minimise the workload for the crew.<\/p>\n

We look back on an eventful time that has given us an impressive insight into the world of merchant shipping. Many of the impressions and experiences we\u2019ve gained will stay with us for a long time to come.<\/p>\n
