IFR 069  Inland Voyage (Spits/Peniche)

Route Varies and depends upon the cargo. Booking of specific routes or destinations is not possible! The vessels often travel in France, The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany.
Duration Usually 5-7 days.
Departures Weekly.
About the Vessel Bulk / Mixed cargo inland vessels, type Freycinet-Peniche/Spits, Dutch (usually German speaking) ship command, about 360 tons, length 39 m, breadth 5 m. This type of vessel is exactly made to fit the sizes of the locks and bridges class I Inland waterways, of which there are many in France, The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
Cabins Guest cabin in foreship, mostly with toilet and sink, access via ladder or narrow staircase, sometimes seating possibility, shower partly shared with the owners in the rear (one ship without shower).
Shore Leave Depending on the cargo longer unloading and loading time can arise. Shore Leave is almost always possible, e.g. at locks. The voyages are well suited to to accompany the ships on towpaths along the canals by bike or on foot, for example.
Documents Passport or ID.
Passage Price Prices are calculated on a daily basis, which differ between vessels.
Example:
5 days between €445.00 and €605.00 per person,
7 days between €595.00 and €700.00 per person.
Embarkment / Disembarkment Fees €30.00 per person.
Travel Insurance Travel health and personal liability insurance.
Medical Certificate Mandatory for passengers over 65 years old.
